Jeanette Lynes’ poem, “Lodge Lake, Muskoka, 1968″ won first prize in the Scugog Council for the Arts (Port Hope, Ontario) Literary Contest, Poetry Category. Another poem by Jeanette Lynes, “Don’t Write What You Know” received an Honourable Mention in the same competition. Congratulations to the other winners!

David Eso and Jeanette Lynes co-edited an anthology, Where the Nights are Twice
as Long: Canadian Poets’ Love Letters, featuring over one hundred Canadian poets.
The anthology will be published by Goose Lane Editions in 2015.
